Customer Profile:

"Windstar passengers seek upscale luxury accommodations, but desire a casually elegant atmosphere. Cruisers range in age from 20s to 80s – average age 51, average income $175,000-plus. They are generally professionals, experienced travelers and first-time cruisers. Windstar is couples-oriented, perfect for honeymooners, anniversary celebrants and adult family reunions. About Windstar Cruises:

The premier shall-ship cruise line operating in the Caribbean, Windstar is known for its four- and five-masted ships and their ability to visit small ports where the big cruise liners dare not venture, such as Iles des Saintes in the French West Indies and Pigeon Island, St. Lucia. The Wind Star, Wind Spirit and Wind Surf sail under the motto, "180 Degrees from Ordinary," and the cruise experience is marked by its casual nature and fine dining.

Recent enhancements include a new seven-day St. Martin itinerary onboard the Wind Spirit with port calls in St. Kitts, Tortola, Jost Van Dyke, Virgin Gorda, and St. Barts.

Menus have been enhanced to feature new dishes that reflect the ships' port calls, and a wine bar has been added to each ship. Wind Surf now has luxury spa suites, and onboard fitness centers have been ungraded with new equipment. Guests also can enjoy complimentary watersports platforms deployed while ships are at anchor and also check out snorkel gear for shore excursions.
