The hotel is set amidst the tropical foliage of St. Lucia’s breadbasket, historical center and world heritage site, Soufriere. Standard cottages include:

• African Tulip: Gingerbread style cottage with a jalousie shaded covered porch. The exterior is covered in shingles from the rain-forest.
• Bamboo Cottage: Unique cottage crafted from tropical hardwood, with hand-crafted four-poster king bed, en-suite bathroom, and a porch.

Superior cottages include:

• Banana Tree: One bedroom with en-suite bathroom, and an interior decorated with natural wood.
• Cinnamon: Features fine Indonesian woodwork combined with colonial architecture, set amidst lush green vegetation with a bedroom and sitting area covered with a bamboo rafted roof, en-suite bathroom, and a veranda with hardwood crafted rocking chairs.
• Hilltop Coconut: Perched on a hillside amid towering coconut trees, this cottage has a colourful and vibrant decor, with one bedroom, en-suite bathroom, comfortable sitting area with forest-seasoned furniture, and a patio overlooking the plantation.
• Hilltop Guava: Furnished with an eclectic blend of modern and antique furniture and perched on a hillside, this cottage is upholstered with a multitude of bright coloured pillows, curtains and mats adding a tropical feel Four-poster bed made with local rain-forest timber draped with mosquito netting. Deluxe cottages include:

• Angelina: This 160-year-old French colonial house was purchased from the original owner, dismantled and trucked to Fond Doux, then rebuilt and restored by artisans who specialize in old building techniques. On the top floor there’s a master bedroom and bathroom, on the bottom floor a dining room, bathroom, living room, a divan bed in the living room, and an outside kitchen.
• Avocado: Situated in the heart of the plantation, this two-bedroom cottage has its own private en-suite bathroom, living room, dining room, and full kitchen, with an interior of tropical colors. All bedrooms have their own secluded patio with comfortable, locally crafted rocking chairs. The patio overlooks a giant plum tree and has a mountain vista.
• Cocoa Tree: With a mixed decor of antique furniture, accessories crafted by local artisans and St. Lucian artwork, this two bedroom cottage has two king four-poster beds, each with its own private en-suite bathroom. This family cottage comes with a full kitchen, dining room and living room area. The patio with comfortable rocking chairs is surrounded by a lawn with tropical fruit trees.
• Tree House Cottage: Located in a secluded part of the plantation, this one-bedroom cottage has an en-suite bathroom, living area with plunge pool, a king four-poster bed, and decor that includes locally made bamboo lamps. Popular with honeymooners.

Fond Doux has two restaurants; the Cocoa Pod and Jardin Cacao Restaurant and Bar. Cocoa Pod serves breakfast daily and buffet lunches. Jardin Cacao serves a la carte lunch and dinner.

Jardin Cacao has a unique location -- the open-air restaurant actually spans a small stream in the heart of the plantation. Constructed from bamboo and tropical hardwoods, it blends in easily with the surrounding flowers and vegetation. The chef draws upon Caribbean and French influences and uses organic fruits and vegetables harvested daily from the surrounding estate.

Mamma La Terre Spa (Mother Earth Spa) is Fond Doux Holiday Plantation’s Organic Spa Retreat. Therapists use natural oils and organic fruits, grown on the plantation without additives or chemicals.

Fond Doux Holiday Plantation also offer complimentary shuttle to the nearby beach daily, and has a private pool with waterfall.
