Visitors to Brimstone Hill are free to explore most of the Citadel, including the thick walls lined with cannon. From these walls you have a marvelous view of Sandy Point town, cane fields, and the Caribbean Sea and nearby St. Eustatius. You can imagine the confidence the defenders of the fort must have felt as they prepared to repel invaders from this lofty perch.
