This former Couples San Souci, playground to Hollywood celebs in the 1950s, underwent a $30-million transformation into the Couples Tower Isle in the Ocho Rios section of Jamaica, where nude getaways are offered at its private Tower Island just offshore (clothing isn’t option, if you go to the island, the clothes must come off, resort officials say). The resort has 226 rooms, six restaurants, four bars, three swimming pools and a Zen-inspired spa (treatments extra). It is set on 19 beachfront acres with ancient palm trees, killer ocean views, and all manner of activities included in the price.

Vintage-inspired pastels capture the retro design of the rooms here, which come with king beds, private balconies and patios with furniture, air conditioning, ample bathrooms with shower or tub, Gilchrist & Soames toiletries, iPod/MP3 players and satellite TV.

•Pool Grill, open all day from 11 a.m. until 5 a.m. the following morning, for all manner of sandwiches, salads, jerk chicken and snacks.
•Veggie Bar, open for lunch and all day, serving veggie dips, salads, sandwiches and smoothies.
There is also private dining available on the beach for extra cost. Special dining nights here include a Monday night beach BBQ, fried-lobster Friday nights and a Saturday night gala with international food.
There are four bars here serving a variety of cocktails, with music provided from steel drums to reggae, and include a piano bar for entertainment late into the night.

Water sports and scuba are included here, as are three freshwater pools, Jacuzzis, lit tennis courts with lessons, a fitness center, a glass-bottom boat tour and excursions to places like fabled Dunn’s River Falls. Golf is also included here, with transfers and green fees included, though mandatory caddies are extra.
