Riu Palace Las Americas, an all-inclusive Caribbean resort, is located in Cancun’s exclusive hotel zone. The resort is close to downtown Cancun and a short walk to the Cancun Convention Center. It features a long stretch of white-sandy beach, nearly 400 suites, and all manner of sports and activities, day or night, including sailing and snorkeling and regular themed nightly shows. All meals are included as are all domestic or brand alcoholic beverages and snacks, 24 hours a day. There are six restaurants at this resort, and five bars. For extra charge, guests can book treatments at the Renova Spa at the hotel.

There are 372 suites at the resort, with the usual amenities such as TV, air conditioning, mini-bar, liquor dispenser, in-room safe and most with balconies and ocean views. Inter-connecting suites are also available for families. In the deluxe suite category, there is a separate living area, and separate living and dressing room. In the Jacuzzi suites, guests have a bathroom with tub and shower cabin, living room area or separate living room and Jacuzzi on the balcony.

There are many activities to enjoy here, including non-motorized water sports and a Kids’ Club with supervised activities for children ages 4-12, and a children’s playground as well. There is a gym, sauna and Jacuzzi for guest uses, ping pong, a lighted tennis court, Spanish lessons, live music, variety shows and Riu theme shows and more. For extra charge, guests can book treatments at the Renova Spa, use motorized water-sports vehicles, go scuba diving, horseback riding and play golf.
