By

Nominations are now being accepted for the 2013 About.com Readers' Choice Awards, and this year you have the opportunity to nominate your favorite Caribbean island or country, beaches, hotels (including a special category for all-inclusive resorts), cruises, and things to do and see.

Plus, for 2013 we have two tasty new categories you can weigh in on: Favorite Caribbean Beach Bars and Favorite Caribbean Rum!

Using the links below, you can nominate up to three of your favorites in each awards category. Nominations are being accepted through Feb. 11. You'll then have the chance to vote on the finalists from Feb. 19 through March 19.

To vote, you'll need to log in with your e-mail account, Facebook, or your About.com account. This information will only be used to keep the voting fair, and you won't be receiving any unwanted newsletters or other communication from About.com. You can vote once each day, so feel free to vote for all your favorites once each day over the next month.

Winners will be announced on March 27. Cast your votes, and tell your friends to nominate their favorites, too! NOTE: Voting is now closed. Thanks to everyone who participated!

Rum is the basis for such famous cocktails as the mojito, hurricane, and daiquiri, but it's also just fine on its own when you're talking about rum that's finely aged and blended by master distillers. Whether you like your rum straight up, on the rocks, or mixed in a sunny Caribbean cocktail, tell us all about your favorites...
