Barbados All-Inclusive Resorts

Barbados is perhaps best known for its British-flavored heritage and posh luxury resorts, but the island also has a nice selection of all-inclusive resorts, including some internationally known properties and upscale hotels.

Almond Beach Club and Spa

Located in St. James on the west coast of Barbados, the Almond Beach Club and Spa has 161 rooms in a lush, tropical setting. Guests can snorkel over the coral reefs just offshore, cool off in waterfall pools and spas, or play a round of golf at a choice of courses. The resort also has a kids club and teen center.

Almond Beach Village

Built on the grounds of a former sugar plantation, this Platinum Coast resort has 395 rooms on 32 acres of beachfront property. Guests can dine at five on-site restaurants, the Almond Beach Club, or any of the restaurants at the other Almond resorts in Barbados.

Almond Casuarina Beach

The newest of the Almond all-inclusive resorts in Barbados, the Almond Casuarina Beach has 257 rooms on a compact 10 acres, with a choice of garden or beach accommodations. Water and landside sports, all dining and other amenities are included, and spa services are available. The kid's club serves infants as well as children up to age 12.

Crystal Cove Hotel

This west coast Barbados all-inclusive resort is, indeed, located in a pretty cove and has a lovely layout highlighted by a series of freeform, lagoon-style pools surrounded by gardens, with a swim-up bar located in a cave behind a waterfall. The four-star Crystal Cove Hotel has 83 rooms and suites.

Mango Bay

Freshly renovated, the 64-room Mango Bay is located in St. James and in the heart of Holetown, a historic west coast town that is now home to many restaurants and bars. The resort has a pool, beach and inclusive watersports, a beachfront dining room, and ocean- or garden-view rooms.

Turtle Beach Resort

Turtle Beach has 184 rooms on Barbados' south coast and is just minutes away from the island's nightlife capital, St. Lawrence Gap. The Elegant Resorts property -- sister to the Crystal Cove -- has three restaurants and inclsive amenities like tennis, water sports, a fitness center, and daily shopping excursions to Bridgetown.

The Island Inn

Not a waterfront resort, but the Island Inn is located in the historic Garrison district of Bridgetown and a short walk from the beaches of Carlisle Bay. The hotel has 24 rooms in a converted rum-storage building dating to 1804.
