Activities and Amenities at Crystal Cove:
Views of the Caribbean sea, full beach service (including fruit and cocktails), and a bevy of complimentary water sports from kayaking to waterskiing mean there is plenty to do at Crystal Cove. Children ages three to 11 can spend time at the Tommy Turtle Kids' Club, which offers arts, crafts, table and video games. It's open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. -- ample time for parents to slip away for a few hours.
    Dining at Crystal Cove:
There are two restaurants on site: the ocean-view Drifters Beach Bar (open for lunch and dinner) and the poolside Reflections, a formal buffet-style restaurant (open for breakfast, lunch and dinner). You can also drink while you lounge in the water at The Cave Bar, attached via waterfall to the main swimming pool.

If you tire of dining at the resort, visit Tamarind Cove or the Colony Club, the other Elegant Hotels properties on the west coast. Though these resorts are not all-inclusive, they will honor a $20BDS guest meal credit for lunch and a $50 BDS meal credit for dinner. Children are half-price.

    More Information on Barbados:
Barbados is a vibrant, energetic island that mixes British refinement and the West Indies' wild side with aplomb. It is home to some of the highest-rated restaurants in the Caribbean -- and the most rum shops per capita -- but there's no dissonance: this is an island that knows the right time to wear dress shoes, and when to kick them off.

    How to Get Here:
Caribbean Airlines and American Airlines fly with direct service from the U.S. to Grantley Adams International Airport in Bridgetown, Barbados's capital. Airport taxi service runs regularly.

Crystal Cove is on the west coast of Barbados, approximately 30 minutes from Grantley Adams International Airport.
