Aruba Announces New Hotel District

By , About.com Guide

Still smarting from the negative publicity surrounding the disappearance of American tourist Natalee Holloway, Aruba tourist officials have unveiled plans to boost the island's attractiveness to visitors.

Tourism minister Edison Briesen recently announced that a new hotel district will be developed at Baby Beach on the eastern coast of Aruba, and both the country's airport and cruise ship terminal will undergo multimillion-dollar renovations.
