The Caribbean is home to hundreds of all-inclusive resorts, and while there are many independent and unique properties, a large number of Caribbean all-inclusives have familiar brands like Couples, Beaches, and Sandals, or are part of one of several families of Spanish-run chains like Riu, Melia, and Barcelo. Club Med helped invent the all-inclusive concept, but the French chain's resorts have undergone a transformation from bare-bones and budget-oriented to offering a full-range of amenities and catering to families as well as singles and young couples. In the Caribbean, there are Club Med resorts in the Bahamas, the Dominican Republic, Guadeloupe, Martinique, and Turks and Caicos. There's also a Club Med in the Riviera Maya, along Mexico's Caribbean coast.

The Dutch Caribbean -- notably Aruba -- is home to most of the eight Divi Resorts, most of which are all-inclusive properties.
