Hotel Riu Palace Aruba

The Hotel Riu Palace Aruba is one of the newer additions on this popular Caribbean island. The all-inclusive resort opened in summer of 2007 on Palm Beach, where most of the island’s high-rise resorts stand. The Riu offers  a variety of dining options, all manner of activities, entertainment, and 450 Caribbean-style rooms and suites. It is a sprawling, three-sided hotel with turreted towers and fronting one of the most beautiful beaches on the island.

There are 450 guestrooms at the Riu Palace. Junior suites come with the usual amenities, such as mini-bar, liquor dispenser, wireless capability (extra charge), and baths boasting a hydro-massage tub. They also come with balcony or terrace.

Suites have all of the above, and some feature Jacuzzi on the terrace.

Double rooms have all the usual amenities and come with a French balcony.

The hotel has five restaurants and five bars, and 24-hour room service. In addition to buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner, the restaurants where reservations are required are: Don Nicolas, terrace dining; Krystal, a fusion eatery; Sayuri, with Japanese cuisine; Milano serving  Italian fare; and Nautilus, a poolside restaurant grill and steakhouse.
The bars at the resort are the Bon Bini lobby bar, Barry’s bar, a sports bar, and a Palm Beach poolside bar with swim-up service. The casino bar is not included in all-inclusive packages.

There are two swimming pools at the property, one for children, the other with adjoining Jacuzzi for adults. Other activities include a gym, beach volleyball, water workouts, sauna and Jacuzzi. There is daytime entertainment for adults and shows or live music during the week.
