Bahamas All-Inclusive Resorts

By , About.com Guide

The Bahamas has only a handful of all-inclusive resorts, but the selection is excellent. Both the SuperClubs and Sandals chains operate Bahamas all-inclusives, Riu Resorts has an all-inclusive on Paradise Island, and Club Med adds its unique flair to an all-inclusive in the Out Islands. On Grand Bahama Island, the Westin and Sheraton Our Lucaya resorts offer an all-inclusive package, and they have the array of amenities and dining options to make it worthwhile!

Breezes Bahamas

SuperClubs' only Bahamas all-inclusive resort is located on famous Cable Beach in Nassau; it has 400 rooms and suites in an eight-story tower and a separate four-story wing. Dining choices are somewhat limited: a buffet-style restaurant, pasta bar, and the more upscale Garden of Eden, along with a poolside grill. Amenities include watersports, tennis, a fitness center, and a rock-climbing wall. Downtown Nassau is just five minutes away, and you can also walt to Cable Beach's casino.

Riu Paradise Island

This 379-room high-rise, all-inclusive hotel is located next to the Atlantis resort on Paradise Island. Highlights include the Tengoku Japanese restaurant, Sir Alexander gourmet dining room, tennis and gym, and live entertainment daily.

Sandals Royal Bahamian

Upscale all-inclusive resort is located in easily accessible Nassau but also boasts its own private island for the proper measure of exclusivity. All-inclusive rates cover dining in eight gourmet restaurants with cuisine from around the world. Stay in a beachfront villa or the secluded Royal Village -- a total of 13 types of accommodations are available.

Club Med Columbus Isle

Club Med packs a lot into its all-inclusive resort on tiny Columbus Isle, including three restaurants, a tennis center, gym, spa, and one-floor, bungalow-style rooms with either ocean or garden views. Excursions are at extra cost.

Radisson Our Lucaya Resort

Not only is Our Lucaya one of the most complete resorts in the region, it's also close to the U.S., reasonably priced, and offers a degree of familiarity and reliability thanks to its participation in the Starwood family of resorts. The Radisson offers an all-inclusive package.
