The British Virgin Islands is tops when it comes to private island resorts -- but it never hurts to have more. The Scrub Island Resort, Spa and Marina opened in July 2010 and has won kudos for its accommodations, dining and spa, including from our own Paul Kandarian, who recently revisited the resort after getting a pre-opening peek a few years ago:
