Watching the ball drop in Times Square is fun enough live, but New Year's Eve just won't be the same without Dick Clark. So why not try something truly different this year and welcome 2013 on a Caribbean island? The Old Year's party on Jost Van Dyke in the British Virgin Islands is probably the most famous Dec. 31 fete, but there's also junkanoo parades in the Bahamas, a boat parade in St. Croix, fireworks in St. Maarten, and Carnival in St. Kitts to bring in the new year, island-style.
