Southwest Airlines has officially begun flights to Key West International Airport (EYW) as of Nov. 4, 2012, with daily nonstops from Orlando, where the airline already has extensive flights and connections. Key West is now the airline's southernmost destination.
To celebrate the launch, Southwest is holding a contest on Twitter in honor of the daily Sunset Celebration in Key West, a festival for local performers, musicians and artists.
