Southwest/AirTran Adds Service Between BWI and Punta Cana

Southwest Airlines -- via its AirTran subsidiary -- will launch service to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic beginning in April 13, with daily service out of Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI). AirTran already serves Caribbean destinations such as Aruba, Bermuda, Cancun, Montego Bay, and Nassau, Bahamas.
