Aruba likes to make a big deal that it rarely gets hit by hurricanes, and even many visitors don't realize that this tourist mecca is a desert island. So the latest offer from the Westin Resort & Casino is a pretty safe deal for the owners: if it rains for three hours or more on any day you visit, you'll receive a $74 food and beverage credit (74 mph is the minimum speed for a tropical storm to be declared a hurricane). The offer is valid through Nov. 30 -- the official last day of hurricane season. And even if you don't collect, of course, that only means you got great weather for your vacation!
Room rates start at $181 nightly.

I’ve been to Aruba before. Yes, it is expensive but it’s all worth it.
Curacao’s climate is the same but the island has a lot more to offer and the diving is superior.
