Getting Around Bermuda

You can hoof it, bike it, cycle it, cab it, bus it, or ferry it, but the one thing you can't do in Bermuda is drive it.

That's right: if you don't live in Bermuda, you can't drive a car there -- not a rental, and not even one borrowed from a friendly local. The reasons are myriad (keeping down the number of cars on the road, promoting auto safety, boosting the livelihood of local cab drivers), but the bottom line is that unless you feel comfortable renting a moped or scooter, you'll need to let someone else do the driving:
