Aruba officials say that Gary Giordano, the travel companion of missing U.S. tourist Robyn Gardner, has stopped answering investigators' questions. And while they vow to get to the bottom of the case, authorities in the island nation say they will set Giordano free after weeks in detention.
CNN reported that Giordano plans to return to the U.S. but that Aruban officials will seek his extradition if charges are filed against him. Giordano says that Gardner disappeared during an August trip to Aruba while the couple were snorkeling off the island's Baby Beach. No trace of Gardner has been found since.
