In a case with echoes of the Natalie Holloway disappearance, a U.S. woman has been missing in Aruba for a week after last being seen near Baby Beach. In this instance, however, authorities have quickly named a suspect -- the woman's American traveling companion.
Various media report that Robyn Gardner, 35, was last seen Aug. 2, and that Gary V. Giordano told authorities that he last saw Gardner when the two were snorkeling in the waters near the Nanki Country Club. Aruban authorities have detained Giordano, 50, despite his denial of any wrongdoing.
