If you're heading to Aruba this weekend, be sure to check out the 25th annual Aruba Hi-Winds competition, the largest amateur windsurfing event in the Caribbean. The event runs from June 29-July 4 and features windsurfers and kiteboarders from around the world, competing in categories that include men, women, masters, and kids, as well as course racing, slalom and freestyle for kite surfing, a long distance race, and a King and Queen of the Huts contest. Winners will receive $1,000 prizes.
Spectators can watch the event from Fisherman's Huts at Hadicurari, where you'll party with music, lunches, dinners, happy hours, and celebrations throughout the entire six-day event. The final awards dinner will take place at Paseo Herencia.
