Hard Rock Hotel Punta CanaHard Rock International made its first foray into the all-inclusive resort market on Jan. 29 with the grand opening of the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic.

The first in a series of firsts, the hotel's 121-acre Macao Beach property in Punta Cana is also the first Hard Rock hotel in the Caribbean. In addition to the usual Hard Rock hallmarks (guitars, music memorabilia, and other Rock and Roll iconography), the resort also sports the Dominican Republic's largest casino and a "hydrotherapy aqua oasis" dubbed the Rock Spa. A nightclub and a premier restaurant (in addition to the 11 already onsite) are set to open in the coming months as well.

Guests who book now can receive up to $2,500 in vacation dollars that can be used on room upgrades, spa and beauty salon treatments, golf outings, romantic dinners, wedding packages, and off-site excursions and tours. Guests staying five nights or more receive $1,500 per room per stay, while guests staying three or four nights receive $500 per room per stay. Guests staying 12 nights or more will receive a credit of $2,500.

See the hotel's website for more details.
