The Occidental Grand Aruba underwent a $24-million renovation in 2008 - and a name change; it had been the Allegro Aruba Hotel. The new digs feature 380 rooms and suites and a casino slated to open in February of 2011. If you've got the coin, a good upgrading option is the Royal Club service here, which includes more personalized service, and private check-in and dining. It is located on Palm Beach, where many of the island's high-end, high-rise resorts are found.

Great info.
I never knew that About.com had a travel blog.
Nice to know.
Before anyone stays there I suggest you read the reviews on trip advisor and others. After people stay there they are not so keen on returning.
