Tropical Storm Danielle grew into Hurricane Danielle today, and the storm's projected path could take it into the vicinity of Bermuda on Saturday or Sunday. That's sort of a good-news, bad-news scenario -- the good news is that forecasters think the storm will miss the Caribbean entirely. The bad news, obviously, is if the storm draws a bead on Bermuda.
If you have Bermuda travel plans this weekend, keep an eye on Danielle's progress, but no need to cancel plans this far out -- there's really no telling where the storm will end up going, it's a big ocean out there, and Bermuda is a tiny target.
The National Hurricane Center says that Danielle currently is a weak, Category 1 hurricane, with maximum sustained winds of about 75 mph. However, the hurricane is expected to grow into a major storm this week. Right now, however, Danielle is more than 1,300 miles from the eastern Caribbean and is moving west-northwest at about 19 mph.

Hi Bob, as of last night the Weather Channel was reporting that the hurricane is currently forecasted to turn East and miss Bermuda.
