Gay Cruising in the Caribbean

Wednesday December 3, 2008
RSVP Vacations has announced that it will host an all-gay Caribbean cruise in 2009: Feb. 21-28 on Holland America's new MS Eurodam. The February cruise will focus on the Eastern Caribbean, departing from Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and making port calls in Turks & Caicos, San Juan, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Half Moon Cay in the Bahamas.

The Eurodam is Holland America's largest ship at 2,104 passengers. The Eurodam combines brilliant public spaces -- including a new pool deck and restaurants -- with Holland America's signature in-cabin amenities that include plush Euro-top "Mariner's Dream" beds, Egyptian cotton towels and flat panel TVs. Staterooms start at $899, based on double occupancy. For reservations or more information, call 800-328-RWVP or visit the RSVP Vacations website.

RSVP's parent company, Atlantis Events, also is hosting a gay Caribbean cruise, Jan. 25-Feb. 1 aboard Royal Caribbean's Freedom of the Seas. Touted as the world's largest gay cruise, the itinerary includes a Miami departure and stops at Labadee, Haiti, San Juan, and Philipsburg, St. Maarten. For more details, see the Atlantis Events website.
