Christophe Harbour Taking Shape on St. Kitts

Wednesday October 29, 2008
The 2,500-acre Christophe Harbour resort on St. Kitts is still years from completion, but the first pieces of the planned development are starting to fall into place. The Beach House restaurant, which serves an eclectic menu with diverse cultural influences, is now open with indoor and outdoor seating with views of the ocean and nearby Nevis.

Four luxury beachfront bungalows also have opened near the restaurant, constructed with sustainable materials and designed to blend with the natural background of St. Kitts' southern peninsula.

By 2011, Christophe Harbour will include a Mandarin Oriental hotel, a Tom Fazio golf course, a megayacht harbor, and an upscale shopping district.

why everybody seems blind about this project?
it will destroy the wild life, bring drugs, prostitution and all kind of troubles due to the consumer society and the last but not the least : all beaches will become private because rich owners buy ground on the beach……..
are you blind ?

It’s up to our greedy Caribbean leaders if they allow our countries to be raped like the rest of the World. These resorts are allowed to operate as though they are separate nations; in time they bring in their pims, whores, drugs and guns. Check the crime rate in these countries prior to tourism explosion. Caribbean leaders sell off what we treasure most…peace
