Montserrat Regains Air Service with Winair

Saturday October 11, 2008
Montserrat, which briefly lost its direct air link with the departure of LIAT and Carib Aviation, is once again being served with daily flights, now by Winair. Daily flights resumed Oct. 1 from Antigua.

Winair will offer eight daily flights from Thursday through Monday with a BNI "Islander" seven-seater aircraft. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays the carrier will operate three daily flights with a 19-seater DHC-6 Twin Otter propjet.

On Oct. 20 the schedule will change to eight daily flights on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays using the Islander and three daily flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays with the Twin Otter. This flight schedule will be available through Nov. 30.

For more details, see the Winair website or call 866-446-0410.
