Storm Lashes Puerto Rico, Could Strengthen

A tropical wave currently dumping heavy rains on Puerto Rico could strengthen into a tropical storm, the National Hurricane Center says. The storm is also bringing rain to the U.S. Virgin Islands and British Virgin Islands, and are advising people in these islands as well as Turks and Caicos and the southeastern Bahamas to monitor the storm as it moves west-northwest over the next several days.
