AirTran Adds San Juan Flights

Thursday June 26, 2008
It will be hard for Puerto Rico to make up for American Airlines' major cutbacks at its San Juan hub, but new service from airlines like AirTran is helping to fill the gaps, at least a little. AirTran announced this week that it will add new nonstop weekend flights between Baltimore (BWI) and San Juan's Luis Munoz Marin International Airport beginning Dec. 20.

In addition to this new service, the airline also will add a second daily flight between Orlando and San Juan on Nov. 2 and a second Atlanta-San Juan flight on Dec. 18.
