Club Med Punta Cana Gets Makeover
Wednesday May 14, 2008
A new kids' club and family suites are highlights of a $34-million renovation at Club Med Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic, one of the pioneers of all-inclusive vacations in the Caribbean.
The kids' club now will accommodate children ages 4 months to 17 years old and features a new water park and an improved skate park for teens. The 32 oceanfront Tiara family suites are situated around a private pool. Restaurant menus have also been expanded to include more healthy dining options, and the resort spa is now full-service and features a tropical, Creole-style design.
