Lights, camera, dive!

Monday March 3, 2008
Capturing the beauty of a Caribbean reef dive on film can be a frustrating experience: most of us are stuck using, at best, a disposable camera with a dinky flash and hoping that there's enough natural light filtering down through the waves to get a decent picture.

SeaLife, however, makes a couple of underwater cameras that can be had for under $500 and provide excellent digital photos, especially when married to an optional external flash. Travel writer Paul Kandarian recently had a chance to test the SeaLife DC600 and ReefMaster Mini while diving in the Caribbean, and filed this rave review.
