Roco Ki Golf Course Gets a Name

Monday February 4, 2008
The much-anticipated Roco Ki luxury resort in the Dominican Republic is slated to open this spring, and the first of its four planned golf courses has been named "The Faldo Legacy Course" in honor of designer and golf legend Nick Faldo.

"The unique nature of the site perfectly conforms to Faldo's design philosophy, which is to work with nature, incorporating the natural beauty of the land into every aspect of the golf course," according to a press release. "The 18-hole, par-72 championship course will surely beguile golfers with its distinct layout upon opening. It has even been compared to some of the famous holes at Pebble Beach."
