$500 Savings to Celebrate New Palm Island Flights

Wednesday January 9, 2008
The Palm Island Resort in the Grenadines is still remote and exclusive, but it's now easier to reach. Between Jan. 27 and May 25, Grenadine Airways will provide 35-minute Sunday afternoon flights between St. Lucia and Union Island, cutting down travel time for guests heading for the nearby resort, which is an eight-minute boat ride from Union Island. (Previously, the trip involved a 45-minute flight from Barbados to Union Island.)

Palm Island guests receive complementary flights on Grenadine Airways, and to celebrate the new Sunday service the resort is offering $500 off a stay at the 42-room Elite Island Resorts property. All-inclusive nightly rates start at $815. For more information, call 800-858-4618 or visit the resort's website.
