How to Get a Refund of Expedited Passport Fees

Friday June 15, 2007
The U.S. State Department has announced details on how to get a refund of the $60 fee for expedited passport processing if you've waited longer than the promised 14 days to receive your travel documents. If you feel you are owed a refund, write a request containing your passport number (if available), name, date, place of birth, mailing address, phone number, and approximate date(s) you applied for a passport and when it arrived (if applicable). Mail to:

Department of State
Passport Services/PPS/Refunds
2100 Pennsylvania Ave NW
Washington, DC 20037-3202
