San Juan Top Caribbean Spring Break Destination

Travel portal Kayak.com says that while most students are choosing Spring Break destinations in the continental U.S., San Juan has emerged as the top Spring Break destination in the Caribbean. The capital city of Puerto Rico was the only Caribbean destination to crack Kayak's top-10 lists when stacked up against U.S. destinations, ranking 8th in bookings among students at Ivy League colleges.

Kayak's top 10 Caribbean Spring Break destinations (based on airport arrivals) included:

Students said that the Caribbean would be their top choice of destination if money was no object. Three out of four students also said that the new U.S. passport rules weren't affecting their travel plans.
