American Airlines Fare Sale for January/February 2007

American Airlines, the leading airline to the Caribbean, is offering sale fares to Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, and Jamaica to travelers heading south between mid-January and the end of February. Some of these deals will be attractive if you can book inexpensive domestic flights to south Florida and then make connections to the islands.

Sale fares, good on roundtrip departures between Jan. 10 and Feb. 27, 2007, with returns by March 1, 2007, include (but are not limited to):

• Miami to Casa de Campo/La Romana, Dominican Republic: $278
• Fort Lauderdale to San Juan, Puerto Rico: $208
• Miami to Bridgetown, Barbados: $303
• New York/JFK to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic: $338
• Los Angeles to San Juan, Puerto Rico: $498
