Tropical Storm Florence Gains Strength

Tropical Storm Florence, the latest named storm of the 2006 Atlantic hurricane season, has sustained winds near 50 mph, is currently located about 800 miles east of the northern Leeward Islands, and is moving west-northwest at about 12 mph. Forecasters are saying the storm has the potential to reach hurricane strength, and its current path could mean some potential trouble for Bermuda. I'll keep you posted as the storm progresses...
