The Internet has made it a lot easier to research hotels before your book a room, but don't fall into the trap of relying solely on the hotel's website as a guide. Good writers, photographers and web designers can make a rundown property look like the Ritz; the opposite also is true. Seems like my friend has fallen into that trap already. One time a friend of mind shared to me that technology today seems to get things done in the easiest possible way. She was off for a second honeymoon with her husband that time and did all booking thru internet. Sadly, things didn’t actaully turn out the way she planned it. Really frustrating isn’t it!
