Chasing Brigadoons in the Grenadines

Friday August 18, 2006
Caribbean Fun Tours has hoisted the Jolly Roger over a new pirate-themed adventure in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. The new five-day, four-night "Pirates of the Caribbean" package starts at $840 per person and leads guests on a tour of the islands and sites seen in "The Curse of the Black Pearl."

Aspiring swashbucklers will stow their sea bags at the Mariners Hotel in St. Vincent before setting off on day trips to the leeward coast of the island and other sights, including WallilabouWallilabou Bay, St. Vincent Bay, the setting for the movie's Port Royal.

The tour price includes lodging, tours, airport transfers, some meals, and airfare on Caribbean Star Airlines from Barbados. For full details, call Caribbean Fun Tours at 784-456-5600 or visit their website.

Don't forget, if you're a fan of the "Pirates" movies you also can visit movie locations in the Bahamas and Dominica: see my "Pirates of the Caribbean Tours" story for more information!
