Il Mulino New York, a perennial Manhattan favorite among Zagat reviewers, is opening a satellite location at the Ritz-Carlton San Juan Hotel Spa & Casino in Isla Verde.

The Puerto Rico beachfront restaurant will debut in September and showcase cuisine from Italy's Abruzzo region. Expect a comprehensive wine list and classic service, including tableside meal preparations. "The combination of Il Mulino New York's acclaimed cuisine and service with The Ritz-Carlton, San Juan's exquisite setting will create a world-class dining experience unmatched on the island," said restaurant co-owner Gino Masci.

Why spoil a Ritz with A trash resturant?
Service slow

Servers arrogant

Room too dark

So dark could not read the over priced menu.
Cheapest pasta dish $ 26.00

Could not read the over priced wine list.

Wine s are marked up 3 times wholesale, and were not of a good blend of selections. [PS we are wine collectors and ITB]

Crowded so bad that folks at next table were virtually on top of me.

PR does not need an overpriced NYC Italian resturant.

Needless to say will not retrun to this joint.
