Thursday June 15, 2006
Princess Cruises' newest ship, the Crown Princess, arrived this week in New York City's Brooklyn Cruise Terminal and will soon begin a regular itinerary of summer New York-to-Caribbean cruises.
The 113,000-ton ship's maiden voyage will include port calls in Grand Turk, Turks and Caicos, Ocho Rios, Jamaica, Grand Cayman, and Port Canaveral, Fla. The 2006 summer season for Crown Princess will include both Eastern and Western Caribbean cruises, including stops in Bermuda. The winter will see the ship repositioned to San Juan, Puerto Rico as its home port.
