You'll never see anything but sunshine in a Caribbean vacation ad, but make no mistake: they call this region the "tropics" for a reason. Still, chances are most of your Caribbean trip will be under sunny skies, even if you go during hurricane season (June-November).

Speaking of hurricanes, you're risk of encountering one of these massive storms in the Caribbean is slim; you've got more of a chance of being hit by a hurricane in Miami, for instance.
