Colony Club in Barbados Reopens

Thursday February 2, 2006
Barbados' famous Colony Club Hotel recently reopened after a major renovation of many of its guest rooms and public spaces.

Forty of the property's 96 guest rooms have been upgraded, including the prime Ocean View Suites, which are now outfitted with flat-screen TVs, DVD players, high-speed Internet access, and new marble baths with Jacuzzi tubs.

"The new Colony Club allows guests to experience the Old-World charm and tranquility of a Caribbean getaway with all the comforts of a top-tier luxury resort," says hotel general manager Gayle Talma.

Also refreshed are the Colony Club's restaurants and bars, pool area, and tennis courts.
